I love working with wool, it’s such a nice fiber to play around with. It’s pretty expensive though. An inexpensive way to get some to sew with is to find old sweaters at thrift stores. Sometimes they’re a little felted. Sometimes they’re ugly. It’s ok! Run them through a hot wash with some dish soap and felt them up some more to make them into a fun fabric to work with! The cuffs are already finished for you and the fabric is generally pretty soft!! Here are 12 ways to work with wool this weekend, to create something fun!
